Άλκηστις Μπονάνου
I am a Research Director at the Institute for Astronomy, Astrophysics, Space Applications and Remote Sensing (IAASARS) of the National Observatory of Athens. My research focuses on observational studies of massive stars, stellar variability, and time-domain astrophysics, with an emphasis on fundamental parameters and the evolution of massive stars.
I have led several projects funded by the European Space Agency and the European Research Council, including the ERC Consolidator Grant ASSESS and the ESA-funded NELIOTA project and Hubble Catalog of Variables project. Click on the tabs to find out more!
