 Dr. Iphigenia Keramitsoglou

 Education and Scholarships 

She graduated from the Physics Department of the University of Athens. Following that, she attended an intercollegiate M.Sc. course in Remote Sensing, provided by University College London. Her Ph.D. was performed at Space and Atmospheric Physics Group of Imperial College London, from where she graduated in 1999.

 Honors, Awards 

·           1995-1998 UK National Environmental Research Council, NERC, Scholarship covering Imperial College London fees for Ph.D. degree.

 

·           1996-1999 UK Meteorological Office, Scholarship covering living expenses during Ph.D. studies at Imperial College London

 

·          Guest Editor of the Special Issue on Earth observation methods for habitat mapping and spatial indicators for nature conservation in Europe (13: 2-3), Journal for Nature Conservation 2005

 

·           Member of the Program Committee of the Second International Workshop on Earth Observation and Remote Sensing Applications (EORSA 2012) in Shanghai, China
