Guacamole

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado (a.k.a. palta)

~1/4 cup chopped tomatoes, seeds and pulp removed

~1/8 cup chopped onions

1 clove garlic, minced

1-2 Tbsp lemon juice

~1 tsp chili powder or 1-2 serrano chiles (optional)

~1 Tbsp chopped cilantro (optional)

salt, pepper to taste

Preparation:

Halve the avocado, remove pit and scoop out the avocado from the shell. Mash with a fork and stir in the rest of the ingredients.

Serve with tortilla or corn chips.
