Greek Tomato Sauce for Spaghetti

Ingredients:

1 16oz can tomatoes, chopped

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

3/4 tsp oregano

1-2 bay leaves

5 Tbsp olive oil

salt and pepper

1/2 cup water

Preparation:

Place all ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 min. Discard bay leaves. Serve over spaghetti, top with grated cheese.

2-3 servings
