Ph.D., M.Sc., B.Sc. Mechanical Engineer; PE in Greece / Chartered Mechanical Engineer since 1989; EUR ING since 1992. Married, Two children.

Research Interests & Accomplishments: Research and development in the areas of renewable energy sources, energy conservation, thermal and solar building applications, building energy audits and building retrofitting, indoor environment, numerical modelling of thermal energy systems and building thermal simulations, HVAC installations, solar cooling, solar radiation and meteorological measurements, computer tool development. Project coordinator, scientist-in-charge and participant in 35 R&D and demonstration projects financed by the European Commission, national Ministries and organizations, and the private sector. Teaching on renewable energy sources, rational use of energy, heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics.

Leader of Group Energy Conservation in IERSD at NOA, staffed by four assistant research scientists (one Ph.D. and three M.Sc.). Project coordinator, scientist-in-charge and participant in over 35 R&D and demonstration projects financed by the European Commission, national Ministries and organizations, and the private sector. Teaching on renewable energy sources, rational use of energy, heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics.
